The SHF is an organization with an enthusiastic team of individuals who continually push the boundaries to improve the care of their shelter dogs and the stray population as a whole. However, SHF recognizes that there is a long way to go to improve stray dog welfare and overpopulation in Madurai and the surrounding areas. Therefore, SHF is embarking on a new and exciting project, which looks ‘over the horizon’ to a bigger and brighter future for more stray dogs in Madurai. The project is entitled ‘Safe Home Foundation – Over The Horizon Project.’
